Untitled series started at a point where I thought I had ended my previous series. The paths I took to search for the new after something that was finished led me to take these photos, which are the continuation of Placeholder series. As I walked through altered landscapes, I stopped being a so-called objective eye watching the view from a distance and adopted an approach where I focus on details and pay more attention to my personal preferences.

The photographs differed from those in Placeholder series but enabled an atmosphere that better emphasized the essential features of altered landscapes. I did this by increasing the contrast between the subjects. Instead of just focusing on altered landscapes, I also included natural and urban landscapes. This allowed me to define the subject through negative space rather than highlighting it. While the hybrid nature of transitional landscapes became clearer with the help of this approach,  concept of landscape became increasingly ambiguous for me.
